Scooters Pizza Awards their Highest Achievers
Scooters Pizza added a double measure of glitz and glam at their annual Operational Awards ceremony, held on 14 August 2013, when they awarded and saluted their brand victors.
Their “Slices of Passion Campaign 2013” focuses on acknowledging their franchisees for all their hard work and dedication to upholding and growing the Scooters Pizza brand. The campaign further concentrates on presenting the juiciest titles to the most deserving stores upon evaluating all the aspects that go into running a successful franchise.
Carlo Gonzaga, CEO of Taste Holdings explains that there are numerous aspects that are assessed before the top performing franchisees in the country are awarded.
“Execution of the Scooters Pizza brand standards; incomparable customer service and hospitality; leadership and hands-on management; and most notably, quality meal offerings, are just a few of the aspects that are taken into mind when deciding on the stores to be awarded.”
The Slices of Passion Campaign has five categories which are filled by the best of the best in the industry, including Franchisee of the Year; Operational Excellence; Percentage Growth; Rand Growth; and finally, New Comer Franchisee of the Year.
The winners of each respective category are as follows:
Operational Excellence – Angelo and Athena Kostoglou, owner of Scooters Pizza Kempton Park attained the highest total assessment score which appraises aspects such as product superiority, the aesthetics of the store, cleanliness, highly skilled and trained staff, etc. Scooters Pizza Gordons Bay and Fig Tree were finalists in the category.
Highest Percentage Growth – The owners of Scooters Pizza Richards Bay, Diane Naidoo and Suren Gopi, were awarded this honour as they demonstrated the highest year on year growth, beating Scooters Pizza Groblersdal and Birchleigh North who took second and third positions respectively.
