Impressive Makeover for Scooters Pizza Franchise
A modern makeover has injected the Scooters Pizza Rock Cottage store with a fresh new look, complimenting operational changes that have recently been implemented.
Christo Calitz, CEO of Taste Holdings Food Division, says that seven stores have undergone revamps since April 2010, which is an integral part of Scooters Pizza’s national development strategy.
In conjunction with the refurbished Scooters Pizza Rock Cottage store, an internal audit was conducted to ensure that customer service and the delivery of quality food products were the first and foremost priority.
“Various amendments were decided upon with regards to the Rock Cottage store’s operational approach following certain concerns from community members. Scooters Pizza considers allegations directed at any of our 130 stores as a great concern, and therefore manages the process accordingly,” says Calitz.
Rodney Venaguim, franchisee of the Rock Cottage store for only six months, along with his staff underwent an extensive customer training week where fundamentals such as customer service, in-store operations, food product preparation and point of sale were key priorities.
“During our internal investigation it came to our attention that the pre-determined delivery area was a focal point of the existing operational concerns. To ensure impartiality to counter order placements as well as safe driving, the 39 minute delivery promise therefore now applies within a two kilometre radius, with a R10 delivery fee charged outside the demarcated area. A minimum order of R35 is required for customers to qualify for the free delivery service,” says Calitz.
The Scooters Pizza Rock Cottage store is committed to reinstating the core values which encompass the brands overall ethos, and encourages consumers to continue valuing the Hot, Tasty and Fast meal offerings at affordable prices that Scooters Pizza has to offer.
