Safe Working Practice is an Occupational Health and Safety consultancy specialising in Health and Safety issues affecting all industries including construction, renewable energy, transport, road works, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, schools, farms, etc. The group consists of 14 franchises and 4 branches. We have been in operation since 2009 and conduct more than 12 000 audits per annum.

Finance Details

  • Set-Up Cost: R 495 000
  • Working Capital: 6 months living expenses
  • Deposit: 25%
  • Monthly Royalty Fee: Calculated at 10% of the Franchisee’s gross monthly sales.  There is, however, a minimum monthly Royalty of R2 500.00 after 6 months of starting date.  The amount payable is the greater of the R2 500.00 or the 10%.  VAT is also applicable to this figure
  • Monthly Marketing Fee: 2% of the Franchisee’s gross monthly sales

  • Skills: Must be computer literate, love working with people, strong admin skills

  • Role of the franchisee: Do marketing, liaise with clients, do safety audits, compilation of documentation, attend meetings, etc

Training and Support

Initial Training and Support

6 weeks:

  1. 3 weeks classroom based where you will do various short courses as well as learning our documentation templates and software.
  2. The next 3 weeks is practical training out in the field on site.

Ongoing Training and Support

  • We have online courses on our software that franchisees can access to stay up to date.
  • We do annual franchisee conferences at which we discuss changes to our systems and operations.
  • Every day is a learning experience. Assistance is only a phone call, email or WhatsApp away.
