Filo is a self-service frozen yoghurt store specialising in frozen yoghurt, smoothies and swirlies with general, deluxe and sauce toppings. Filo also offers a coffee concept depending on store locations with specialities like filospressos, amongst other traditional coffees.
Lisa Spain, the visionary and creator of Filo, is a chartered accountant who has been in investment banking for over 14 years. Filo was born out of Lisa’s passion for frozen yoghurt which started at the age of 12.
Lisa together with Dario Rabboni (the owner of Pregel Italy) created the Filo strategy which includes rolling out frozen yoghurt outlets throughout South Africa and the rest of the world.
