Mugg & Bean franchise

Why I chose franchising
You are guaranteed to make a better success of the business as the groundwork and research is done. Advertising, menus and speciality meals are arranged by professionals who are familiar with the clientele.

What I did before buying my Mugg & Bean franchise
I was doing engineering work for diamond and gold mines in South Africa and other African countries.

How I raised the finance to buy Mugg & Bean
I sold my previous business.

The training and support I receive from Mugg & Bean
Mugg & Bean supplied excellent training to me and my staff and we always get continued support whenever needed.

The challenges I have faced with franchising & Mugg & Bean
It’s not always easy to stick to catering rules. There is not much room for your own creations as a franchisee.

My advice to someone thinking of buying their first franchise
Go for it! Take advice from the franchisor but always add your own personal touch. Although every Mugg & Bean has the same décor and menus, always make it your individual store.

My plans for the future with Mugg & Bean
I would like to open a few more stores! Also maybe one in another country.
