3@1 Rebrands and Adds New and Exciting Services to their Package

Leading retail business centre 3@1 is in the process of visually rebranding their franchise and is also adding several new services to its current portfolio at the same time. Kodak photographic and Aramex courier stations are now being added to the existing print and internet stations.

“In an ever-changing market these services will ensure that we continue to drive growth in the retail communications market,” says Sales Director, Belinda Dunn.

Moving with the times

“Our customers can now embrace e-commerce more fully and our Aramex dropbox service provides a courier counter, which allows them to pick up goods ordered on the internet that can’t be delivered to them during the working day,” explains Dunn.

All existing stores will eventually be upgraded and the process is well underway with 3@1 Fourways and Clearwater Mall, Cape Gate, East Rand Galleria to follow. All are due to be completed by the second quarter of 2014. All new stores will incorporate the new look and feel reflecting the rebrand. “Over the last four months we have opened a new look franchise in just about every province,” says Dunn.

New franchise package on offer

With the introduction of area licensee licences, new franchisees can now own and operate a 3@1 franchise in a number of ways. “The area licensees will act as the head office for the area in which they operate, thereby maintaining the responsibility of using our franchise brand and adjusting the model to fit the area in which they are situated,” explains franchisor Chris Dunn.

The area licensee’s responsibilities will include the development and opening of a pilot store as well as the running of this outlet, coordinating activities in the area and providing ongoing support to all associate localities.

“By acting as a sub-franchisor, area licensees will in turn receive a significant percentage of the overall royalty revenue generated within their territory,” Dunn adds.

Strong managerial skills – all with the necessary investment capital – are a prerequisite. “Prospects should also have a strong understanding of business processes, be mindful of long-term goals and be able to lead effectively”
