How we train and support you
Training and support to Regional and Courier Franchisees is both comprehensive and ongoing.
Prior to commencing with the business, an in-depth 3 week training program is undertaken by the Regional Franchisee and its staff. It is expected that the Regional Franchisee and its staff successfully undertake the end of training examination. The National Franchise Support Office (FSO) provides onsite training and support for a period of one week prior to the commencement date. On commencement of the business, “full time” on-the-ground support is provided by the FSO for a period of one month. Thereafter, the FSO provides a minimum of 2 days per month support and assistance to the Regional Franchisee.
A Courier Franchisee undertakes an in-depth classroom and practical training program prior to commencement. Courier Franchisees are expected to successfully complete the daily examinations. On the commencement of the business a 20 week support program is provided. Thereafter training is conducted on a weekly basis, with specific personalized support being provided weekly in respect of sales, and monthly in respect of business planning and review.
No transport experience is necessary. An experienced business person with good business acumen is a requirement, an individual that is sales orientated, with the ability to work within a team environment, ability to lead, and must be prepared to comply and follow a system. A husband and wife team works well in this environment.
Courier Franchisees come from all walks of life and no experience in the transport industry is necessary. A prerequisite is a stable background; to be physically capable of performing the role of a Courier Franchisee, an outgoing personality, hands on, must be prepared to follow a proven system, and an individual that is seeking an opportunity to develop and run their own business.
